When it comes to websites, it is much more than just a bunch of web pages that’s connected by web links. A website is more of an interface, and it is a space where different things – the brand, products/services, an individual, a company’s or organization’s digital presence – meets and communicates and thereby affects one another. This kind of interaction surely creates an experience for the website’s visitors, and it’s the web designers’ job to ensure that they create a web design which would provide the best user experience for the web visitors.

Here are some design tips for better User Interface:
Set expectations. Lots of interactions within the website or the app would have consequences – for instance, clicking a given button would mean spending money, or adding a product to the care, making disparaging comment, liking/disliking a product/service, or simply erasing the user profile. Whenever there are consequences for actions in websites, there’s anxiety too. Therefore, web designers need to ensure that their website design allows the users to know exactly what is going to happen when they click a specific button.

Know your users. A crucial part of any UI designing involves getting to know who the target users for that website are. And this basically means that the designed would be required to have access to demographic data for the target audience that the analytics application can surely pull. More importantly, this means knowing what the target user needs, and what’s really standing in ways of the users for achieving those goals.
